Vegan drinks and smoothies recipes

With India abundant in delicious fruits and spices, it's easy to make delicious vegan smoothies and hot beverages for a rainy monsoon day. Though this doesn't apply to any of the vegan smoothie recipes, please note that some of these drink recipes contain table sugar. Some vegans oppose the use of this ingredient because of its link with bone char as a filtration process. I personally use sugar, though I'm open to hearing about alternatives from my fellow animal lovers here in the Indian community!
